Nepal Spice Kitchen and Hansen Fest

I'll admit that I really want to like eating off base here, but honestly don't love it that much.  I want to be an adventurous eater, but just struggle finding things I really like.  However, since we've been in Okinawa we've discovered that Reagan likes curry, and more importantly LOVES Naan bread.  A few weeks ago Brandon had eaten at Nepal Spice kitchen with some friends and wanted to take us back for the bread since they make it from scratch.   A side note, we eat early, so the place was empty when we got there, but was filling up when we left.

Reagan took over the camera for some scenery shots.

Here's Reagan's meal, Samosas.
Brandon had a combo with lamb and then chicken curry.

Brock and I planned to share the vegetable curry, but it was a bit spicy for him.

Later in the weekend we went to a festival on Camp Hansen.   Below are a few pictures, it was HOT, so we didn't stay too long.

Illusion Art

This weekend I read about an Illusion Art exhibit in American Village.  A few months ago I saw this exhibit in another town here in Okinawa, but Brandon was off-island and I didn't think I could find it myself, so we didn't go.    I was excited to see that it was back, and even closer to home.  Off we went on Sunday night to check it out.

Ahh, a sunset cruise to start our adventure.

Oh no, we are under attack...someone tell Brock so he can be scared too!

Hold on for your life Reagan, the ship is going down!

She surfs Whale Sharks, she's cool like that.

Even Brock can surf them.

You can't tell much from this one, but Brock is getting attacked by the giant octopus and Reagan is attempting to push it back in the crate.  I'm just trying to keep Brock in one spot long enough for Brandon to snap the picture!

Don't look behind you Reagan!

They had a few illusions outside too.

Don't get too close to the edge Reagan!

While we were there, a Japanese Dance company was doing performances in the courtyard.

Just a couple of shots of American Village.

Brandon, what long legs you have...

If Reagan ever wins a pot of gold, this will be her reaction.

Of course, there is an arcade next to the exhibit.

Reagan's first golf camp

Last week Reagan took part in a golf camp at the Banyan tree golf course here on Kadena Air Base.  They played a round on Friday and had a pizza party to celebrate the end of camp.

Reagan is the second from left in the back row.

Reagan and her friend loved pushing their baby strollers with the clubs :)
