South Korea Spring Break trip - day 1

This year for Spring Break, we decided to go to South Korea with friends.  The best part was that one of them was originally from South Korea and could be our translator/navigator.  They also had kids similar in ages to ours, so that was a treat for Reagan.

We had a direct flight to Seoul from Okinawa and it should have been an easy trip, but the flight was delayed and then once we got to Seoul, a 45 minute taxi ride took two hours due to Friday night traffic, so it was going on 8 when we arrived at the hotel.  We were pretty much starving and all split up to eat and get some rest for the next day.

Originally our Asiana airlines flight was at 1 PM and was supposed to take a little over 2 hours to get there.  As I mentioned, we left a couple hours late and we were all surprised that they served a meal on such a short flight.  The green noodles had a soba sauce to pour over them - they weren't awesome.  The main dish was rice, covered with hamburger and cheese.  The lemon cake was awesome though!

The kids in the taxi.  Brock loves anything with wheels and was so excited to ride in a taxi.  We see lots of them here on base, but I guess the idea of no car seat just put him over the top.  He was in heaven and was a little commentator all the way to the hotel, pointing out that a bus is coming, or a big truck was next to us.  We also spent lots of time counting wheels and pointing out car colors.
